Can i just vent my frustration about all fans of American Idol? What's happening with our choices, I mean, this isn't a beauty contest of some sort. I really don't get it... why do Kristy Lee Cook keep on getting in the the top whatever.
Haaaay... well I guess that's your choice guys, but I really feel she doesn't deserve to be there. simon already said it, she is a weak performer.
David H. was better than her, and even Amanda Overmyer... she has a very unique and cool style. Better that this blonde who ruins the arrangement of a song.
I find the first elimination night so hilarious, making her song rendition a carnival song. To my surprise and her glory, she got in and David H. got kicked out. What a crap.
Well, this is my sincere opinion. These are the 2 contestants that I want to be kicked out od American Idol:
Top of the list of the first ones to be kicked out of AI. This is a singing contest, not beauty contest... if she's getting in because of her blonde charm, then I guess, this show should not showcase talent after all.
Well, I don't think he's at par with the rest of them... he's not even interesting for. A plain balladeer that is.
I still feel bad that Amanda Overmyer and Daniel Hernandez didn't make it on top. They could have made the competition more feisty and challenging.
Well... Congatulations to Ramielle Malubay, for making it to the 24 finalists of American Idol. I'm so glad we have another Filipino blood in such prestigious contest. We have been dazed by our kababayan Reynaldo Lapuz, for making another "Willian hung stint" and it surely made it in the internet. His song was a sure hit and had so many remix.
Now it is time for Ramielle to show usa what she's got! Go girl! Aim high Pinay! (hehehe... quoting Modess' tag line).
Well, aside from Ramielle, there are 23 other talented people who made it to the finals and the announcement of the top 24 finalists was really an emotional, heartwarming and heartbreaking event. There are 12 boys and 12 girls who were lucky and talented enough to make their way to the main event.
As early as now I have my favorites already! =) Here they are:
Carly Smithson - with her cool tattoo in her shoulder, you wouldn't ever think that she is a sweetheart and can pull off a Celine Dion song. I must say, she is a good ballad singer and I think she is the best in this troop.
Danny Norriega - I don't really know why, but for some reason he reminds me of Bryanboy. I am not sure yet but he really seems gay to me and he looks really really cool. The way he moves brings out a different likable aura of him and of course his singing prowess makes him fit for a DIVA.
Syesha Mercado = ooohhh.... her strong and powerful voice gives me goosebumps! Plus her hair is so nice!
Michael Johns - He is good and he is my crush! Good talent and good looks all in one!
Ramiele Malubay - and of course the last but definitely not the least... the same blood runs through our veins... a true Pinay, proves herself one of the best making it to the top. Filipinos are really good singers... be the first Filipino-Asian-American Idol Ramiele... make us proud!
American Idol is on its way to Atlanta, but I really haven't aired my favorites and the unforgettable ones yet. I know we are yet to see the best and the worst auditions and as early as now I am so thrilled.
I am still stuck with the auditions held in Dallas, Texas though. 3 of my favorites come from this place.
First on the list...
Drew Poppelreiter - The Hottie Cowboy., a 24 year old farmer who practices singing in his tractor. This cowboy is a real hottie! Even if his voice isn't really as clear as his good looks, I'm glad he made it to Hollywood. Anyway, if singing doesn't work for him, I think he can be an actor, he has the looks for it and he looks like Ashton Kutcher.
Next on my list, of course the 2 unforgettable auditions in Dallas.
Tammy Tuzinski - The Queen of Charisma - this monotonous 24 year old lady from Grapevine,Texas surely made us laugh with his one facial expression and her "wonderful version" of Celine Dion's Power of Love. She goes... "If... you ask me to...if you ask me to..." I guess Celine will have a hard time figuring out where the real power of love is in that song. Hah!
Renaldo Lapuz - The Brother Forever -
As a matter of fact, he's in that overage range right? So howcome he was able to get in and perform there? Infairness to him... his song was a hit! After watching that episode, his song kept on playing on my mind. Not only that, here in the Philippines, they are airing his song already but it a remix already. I have also come across with a website made just for him and a lot of versions of videos of him.
It's never too late to get famous!
